This lesson is suited to classes learning the names of Canada's provinces and territories and their abbreviations and to those learning the names of the statutory holidays of Canada. It is also relevant to study of employment law.
I've provided one true or false follow up worksheet, but there are about six different follow up activities you could make to use with this information. Let me know what you come up with!

With the table below, you could make matching cards and low beginner students could match the province with the abbreviation. You could also make a follow up worksheet.
With the table below, students could match the holiday with the date. They could answer questions asking for the date of the holiday or complete a true or false worksheet on dates of holidays.
Here's my true or false worksheet below. Students have to scan the table above for the province or territories' abbreviation in order to answer questions about where workers can have the day off with pay.
