I really felt that the class learned from this activity. We were also able to expand it using actions to go with the activity. I am teaching seniors so incorporating activities is good for them physically. They identified that for golf you can say go golfing or play golf. I also added the soft skill of body language when we practised "I don't know how to play golf." while shaking our heads. This one activity expands into lots of interactive learning. Thank you so much.

I tried this today and it was so much fun. It was hard for some students to come up with a wrong way to pronounce the name. I suggested they use a formal version of their name and then say: Actually I prefer to be called ...

Nancy, I am so embarrassed to admit that I'm just now discovering your blog. I'm adding it to my blog's sidebar today. I was poking around in preparation for reviewing your newest book. I adore it! Can't wait to use it in September. KM
